JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: Night Supervisor

Role Description:

This is full-time position based on-site in The Park Hotel, Dungarvan. As a Night Supervisor you will oversee the operations of the hotel during the night and will be responsible for the security of the hotel and the safety of our guests overnight. During your shift you will prepare meeting and private dining rooms to agreed standard and to guests’ specification for the following day. The night supervisor will manage the night shift staff by providing guidance, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Role Responsibilities:

Report all potential and real hazards immediately.
Ensure you have a well-founded understanding of all hotel policies
Inspect all areas of the hotel regularly, recording same, and report irregularities to relevant HOD’s and maintenance
Ensure all access to the hotel is secure as required by hotel policy and procedure
Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire and Emergency procedures
Attend all fire, health and safety training on-site and on-line
Ensure your team is fully trained and compliant with Health & Safety legislation
Ensure the safety of the guests and the property by strict adherence to existing laws and hotel policies & procedures, and reporting any possible hazards and conditions to the General Manager
Have an overall awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken in the department
Complete any accident/incident reports and distribute to relevant departments promptly
Record any unusual occurrences or problems arising to the Duty Managers attention for the next day and take appropriate action
Communicate, work with and build a good working relationship with Front Office Day team to ensure a consistent level of service is offered throughout the hotel 24 hours a day
As a team, ensure that guest areas and offices are always clean and tidy
In conjunction with the Accommodation Manager, clean public area carpets on a regular basis, with additional cleaning as and when required
Check in late arrivals and check out early departures in line with hotel procedures
Ensure that wake up calls are made promptly
Take room service orders, prepare the food and drinks and deliver to guests.
Provide service in the Bar after the late shift team members have finished their shift
Handle all cashing up in line with existing hotel SOP’s
Assist guests with any requests e.g., information, making bookings, directions
Ensure all tasks are completed on each shift and that a full and thorough handover takes place at the end of the shift

Role Description:

This is a full-time Front Office Manager position that is based on-site at The Park Hotel in Dungarvan. The Front Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the front office, including training and supervising front office staff to a level exceeding customer expectations, managing the front desk, managing guest relations and responding to customer inquiries.

The perfect candidate will work closely with our Marketing and Revenue Manager and have the support and assistance of a strong front office team including reception supervisors.

Role Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate all functions of the Front Office with a hands on approach
Reinforcing a customer focused approach within the Front Office Team at all times
Work with the Front Office team to ensure all guest have a positive experience by delivering a smooth Check In and Check out process
Work closely with other departments to ensure booking information is shared and accurate
Ensure quality of data is maintained within the booking system enabling accurate guest history and sales’ information
Encourage guest feedback by implementing and managing a system for addressing comments to ensure guest satisfaction and continuous improvement
Monitor guest feedback trends and proactively address potential challenges in service standards
Actively solicit guest opinion by ensuring a strong Front Office presence – meeting guests regularly
Provide coverage in reservations/revenue as required with holidays utilising existing team members

Experienced Bartenders – Full and Part-time Roles

Role Description:

Our Bartenders will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer requests across all our busy bars. You will have extensive knowledge of common drinks, which you use to recommend drinks to customers. You will liaise with our customers who sit at the bar by providing conversation and excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other customers.

Role Responsibilities:

Preparing bar/restaurant/function bars for service with special attention to format, sanitation and stock control
Verifying the customers’ ages
Presenting menus, serving and helping customers select food/beverages
Take and serve orders and be able to answer guest questions and make recommendations based on customer tastes and preferences
Collaborate with colleagues and kitchen/bar/restaurant/C&B staff
