 While not many people know this outside of Dungarvan, The Flynn hotel group began it's roots deep within the harbour town area of Co. Waterford with Whitechurch House. 

An old Georgian Estate, the house was a well know favourite amongst the locals, with Elizabeth (Dottie) Flynn running the property with her sons - Pierce, Niall, Donal, John and Allen. Eventually sold, with the Flynn's moving on to new pastures, Whitechurch has become synonymus amongst Dungarvan locals as 'the place to go for a Sunday disco'.
